A big Unionist Conference was adjourned till to^norrow. The meetings of the Iron Trader Federation and the Seamen's Union have been postponed pending the decision of the conference. . . It is understood that negotiation* are proceeding with representatives of the conference and the shipping companies, but. the ( nat lire of the proceedings hivve not transpired.
