INVERCARGILL. Last Night

At the Police Court . at Stanton, Before Mr Cruickshanks, S.M., two Nightcaps miners, who are out on strike, were each fined £2 5s for using threatening behaviour to two workers. The accused waylaid two

workers in the township and behaved in an objectionable and .threatening manner to tnem. The Magistrate Baid the cases were not very serious, but he advised the Strike Committee to keep the strikers in orde,r, as the next offender would not be so leniently dealt Avith.
