HOMING PIGEONS.
A TEAMS RACE
T!io Masterton Homing Pigeon Club flew a teams race from Wellington on Saturday, the birds being liberated 'by the stationmaster on the artt'-val of the early train. Three birds constituted a team. The teams arrived back in Masterton at abolut 1 o'clock. Tlio race resulted: Mr TV. Gourlay's Tiki toam 1, Mr Sutherland's Pine Street team 2, Mr G-. Pernor's To-taa-a team 3.
