INVERCARGILL Last Night

The steamer Kia Ora sailed from the Bluff on Saturday for Picton, taking a record shipment of butter and cheese from the port. The cargo included 2673 crates of cheese and 7340 boxes of butter, from Otago factories, and 8935 crates of cheese from the Southland factories. She has also a considerable quantity of other country produce on board.
