Sir,—Can you tell me if it be true that a member of a certain cricket club in Masterton has refused to play in a team because one of the team went to Wellington as a special constable? 1 will not believe that such a thing is possible until 1 have your assurnnec on the point.—l am, etc., PATRIOT.
