Mr Lewis had an automatic machine gun of his own invention test-ed-at Bisley. It proved successful for rapidity and accuracy. It was fired from an aeroplane, and a high percentage of hits was recorded. A white sheet on the ground was used as a target. Undoubtedly it is a gun with a future. Of simple construction, it can *>'ta,nd ■» lot of knocking about on active service.
