BRIDEGROOM .WAYLAID AND ROBBED.

(By Telegraph — Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, Last Night. In connection with a "left in the lurch" wedding case which occurred on Friday, it is -stated that the missing bridegroom arrived at Kaiapoi about 10 o'clock at night. He alleges that ho was waylaid on his way from Christchurch and deprived of £IOO in cash, a gold watch.and chain, and a bank book. He states that he remembered nothing until he woke up in the vicinity of Styx. The man walked to Kaiapoi and arrived there in a dazed condition. The police are investigating the matter.
