The dredgemaster of the Success dredge reports under date -November 23rd: "1 beg to report a run of 112 hours for si return of 390z lOdwt, won from the. south-end corner of the cut.. There is little or no change in the ground except right in the corner where a red .seam of gravel 20 feet from the bottom has increased in thickness from about two feet to twenty. Your dredge ran well during the week and we treated a large quantity -of dirt."
