Mrs Aureus, of Mastertou, is ■spending a few days in the Empire City. Mrs Costello, wife of Mr Costello, Bank of Australasia, Timaru, has been much farewelled thero prior to leaving for Masterton, to which town Mr Costello has been moved. Mrs Donald, "Mahunga," has Mrs Tathain, of "Hotnewood," spending a few days -with her. Mrs Fenton is the guest of Mrs Cormack, of Carterton. The Masterton Horticultural Society are to bo congratulated on the success of their summer show, which was held in the Drill Hall yesterday.
