TARATAHi SALE. Dalgety and Co., Ltd., Master ton, report" having held Iheir usual fortnightly sale at Taratalii on Monday, the 24th inst., when there was the usual attendance, and a large entry of stock. The sale right through was very erratic, some lines being keenly competed for, while others were rather slow of sale. The following prices were, realised : —Prime fat lambs 16s to 17s 3d. prime fat ewes 27s to 27 9 3d owes with 100 per cent lambs 21s 6d, cull mixed hoggets 9s Bd. '.. , Cattle. —Yearling steers £2 os to £2 14s yearling heifers £3, springing heifers &i 7n to £6 10s, empty 2-year heifers £3 2s to £3 12s, storey £3 ios to £3 13s. bulls £o to £6 10s. Dairy herd, offered on account of Mr Anderson Carrington, -net with only fair comnetition and realised as follows: Cows'in full profit £5 5s to £6.
