RESULT OF BALLOT

Twenty-six sections in the Heatherlea estate, Leviiij acquired by the GoVenwhent for closer settlement, and offered under the renewable lease, were ballotted for at Levin this afterndon. In all there were 37 applicants. The areas of the sections ranged from five acres to forty-eight acres. The' successful applicants were: Charles Aidin, Foxton; Mrs M. 0. Mulia'der, Feilding; Mrs R. Barrit, Foxton; Mrs 0. H. Andrews, iMartinborough; Miss A. M. Schmidt, Palmersiton North; Mrs H. A. N. Taylor, Levin; Elizabeth Crawford Roseneath, Wellington; Edith Hudson, Petbne; Mrs Florence Woollett, Levin; Mrs Emma Harwood, Taihape; David Smart, Levin; Charles Hassall, Wellington; G. G. Kelly, Ohakune; A. F. Wilson, Levm; W. B. Hart, Koputaroa; K. E. Burt, Levin ; A. J. Sheargold, Ohau; Isabella M. Woollett, Levin; F. M. Dew, Ohakune; C. W. Reid, Ohau; Mrs R. G.
