THURSDAY ASSOCIATION. The Wairarapa Thursday Cricket Association opened the season yesterday, when Carterton A and Hockey B teams tried conclusions. The pitch was in fair order, but the bowlers had all the best of matters. In the first spell Carterton, playing seven men, scored 79 runs, against Hockey Club's 48 for thirteen men.
