AN AMENDMENT BILL. The Board ofjAgriculture Bill was con-idered in c<nnmTttee in the HiVJse. of Representatives last night. Sir .Jor-enh Ward moved an amendment ti) sub-section 3 of. Clause H, that representation should he giv:-;ri on the Hoard to fruitgrowers, beekeepers, poultry-b'veeders and .fluxmillers associations. The Premier declined to accept theamendment, stating that the associations referred to were represented in the A. and P. Associations. A lengthy discussion took on the amendment, the Opposition contending that the Government was setting up a -Board of large land-hold-ers. ".'',. TBls contention was, vigorously repudiated by Sir Walter*Buchanau and others. « . The debate was proceeding when the telegraph office closed.
