ANNUAL MEETING

The lN'ew Zealand superintendent of Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., has received a cable message from London to the effect that 'lie annual meeting of the company was held in London on Thursday, and was in every way most satisfactory. A dividend.of 4s per (share las been declared, being at the rate of 8 per cent per annum, and making with the interim dividend already declared and paid 8 per cent for the year ended June 80th. The dividend will be paid to shareholders on the colonial register on and after the 26th inst.

A sum of £50,000 has been placed to the reserve fund, which now stands at £550,000, £IO,OOO has been transferred to the staff benevolent fund, £o0,()()() has been written oil the freehold premises, and the balance, £92,532, carried forward.
