MINISTERS ASSAULTED.
ONE ARREST MADE
(Received Last Night, 5.5 o'clock.) LONDON, November 15. Just before the train reached Newcastle a Suffragette struck Mr John Redmond, Leader of the Nationalist Party, in the face with a handbag. His assailant was arrested. The Right Hon. A. Birrell, while addressing the Young Liberal Party 7 at Bristol, was struck hard in the chest with a dead cat, which was thrown by a man who snouted: "Torture that iirStead of defenceless women."
