PALMERSTQN STOCK SALES
- PAEMERSTON.N., Last Night. Messrs Abraham and-Williams., Ltd. report:—At our Palmerston North sale cm Thursday, the 13th inst., we offered a fair yarding of both sheep' and cattle, which sold readily under tho hammer at the following prices: —4-tooth ewes with lambs at foot 28s, fat wethers 24s 9d, fat ewes 23s Id, small yearling steers 34s to £2 Bs, 18-months steers £3 14s, yearling heifers £3, backward springing heifers £4 to £4 15s, store cows 32s 6d to £2 Is, forward oows £3 10s to £4 6s, cows with calves £3 10s to £4.
