AN ARREST MADE.

STATEMENT BY ACCUSED.

(Received Last Night, 11.25 o'clock.) PERTH, November. 13.

A man named W.. Jackman has been arrested for the murder of Griffith Boyer. . JacEtaan at first reported that Boyer was drowned while bathing, but he l*ow states that he shot Boyer accidentally, and being afraid partially burned the body, which he threw into a well.

[On November Ist a number _ of blacks found the body of Boyer in a native well three miles from thd beach. The body was partly burned and was almost unrecognisable. It was thought, when Boyer was missing, that he had been drowned.]
