AMERICAN ATHLETES.
SAIL FOR NEW ZEALAND
(By Telwavh—Prm Auociatwn.) WELLINGTON, Last Night.
Mr W. G. Talbot to-day received a cable from 'Frisco, stating that the American athletic team left for New Zealand in the steamer Tahiti, which is due at Wellington on December 4th. Mr Peixotto is manager of the team.
[The team will take part in the Caledonian Society sports at Masterton on New Year's Day.]
