. The ordinary fortnightly meeting of the Druids' Lodge was held on Monday evening, Bro. J. H. Barlow, A.D., presiding. The Grand Secretary wrote notifying that Bro. J. Moncrieff 'had been appointed Book Kxaminer by the Grand Lodge Executive. A donation of 10s Gd was made in response to an appeal from tho Star of Ashburton Lodge on behalf of a deceased brother. One brother was declared off the sick fund. Tho Arch Bard's report on suck members was received, and the amount of £8 16s passed as sick pay. Consideration of writing to Eketahuna and Masterton lodges re half-yearly, installation meetings was held over until next meeting. TJie half-yearly meeting of Totara Lodge will take place on Monday, November 24th, when nomination of officers for the ensuing six* months will be received. Following is the Carterton Druids' cricket team to play the Hockey Club, at Masterton on Thursday: C. Reid, H. Hutchinson, E. McKenzie, W. Atwood, H. Hart, W. Armstrong, P. Hodder, Bell, J. Gayfer, Lillwood, and P. Reid.
