GREAT STORM.

ON CANADIAN LAKE.

MANY VESSELS WRECKED

(Received Last Night, 10.20 o'clock.) OTTAWA, November 12. Five bodies, with lifebelts marked "Wexford," have been found on the beach near St. Joseph, Ontario. The bodies evidently belonged to the capsized freighter. A number of other wrecks are reported on the Groat Lakes. The storm, which is of record violence, continues. The steamer Waldo was wrecked. Twenty-five persons, including two women, were saved after experiencing great hardships. The crew of another wrecked vessel reach the shore half-elother. They spent twenty-four hours in the bitter cold before they obtained relief. Six of the crew were drowned.
