RESENTED AT WANGANUI
THE GOVERNMENT COMMENDED.
WANGANUI, Last Night. At a conrnittee meeting of tho Wanganui Agricultural (Society to-day the following resolutions -were passed : w That this association protests against the insulting language of Mr Tregear, who descrilxxl the specials as outcasts coming fram the country, and recommends that he resign his commission of Justice of the Peace." "That this association desires to place on record its appreciation of the stand taken tip by the Government in tho present industrial crisis, also tho action of those who so promptly volunteered their services for that purpose, and places on record its appreciation of the cotnmendably loyal stand taken by the local waterside workers in adhering to their principle in the present trouble."
