TIRED IN THE MORNING.
It is very likely that half the people who read this article awake "tired 1 in the morning." If you are among those who feel languid in the morning, with a long desire to return to bed and sleep a couple of hours more, your physical condition is below par, and you are an easy victim for any stray-germs you may attract from the a:r. You are also an easy victim for any stray germs you may attract from the air. You are also an easy mark for nervous prostration, indigestion, and other serious troubles. Of course, you want to get rid of the tired feeling, and to do so you ought to know what causes it. There are a number of causes. The first one is lack of sleep. Modern civilised man works all day and- sits Up half the night. It is not necesisarv to go to hed at eight o'clock, but if you have tlie tired feeling, make it a rule to go to bed a little earlier and. do it regularly. This
may be all you need to put you on ihii right track. But- here is a man. who «ays lie goes to bed in a 'reasonable season and wakes up ured. What is the matter? The chancres are that the trouble is with lii« eating. An indigestible supper <and a very light supper may be an indigestible one for some people) will make you wake up tired in the morning. Experiment a little; change your diet. See if a differenent plan of eating, or possibly occasional abstinence from eating the evening meal may not make a marked difference with your feeling in the morning. A little care in This uTreetian will probably do more to cure ysur nervousness than all the tonics and drugs in Christendom ; but in any event, if von want to avoid something seriou/s later on get rid of that tired feeling in the morning.
