EXCITING SCENES AT KIEFF

'Times'—'Sykney Sun' Special Cabks. (Received Last Night, G o'clock.) ST. PETERSBURG, Nov. 11. Kieff is feverishly excited at tho closing scenes of the Beiliss trial. Hundreds of peasants belonging to the Black Hand Society got drunk on vodka, and used insulting language to passersby indiscriminately. Tho Court was crowded with fashionably dressed women, who paid high prices, for seats. A,, Beilisfi, the accused, wa.s guarded in Court by five soldiers with drown swords. M. Maklakow, "ior tho defence, said: "If you convict, it will not only be Beiliss but Russian justice. Not a single fact has been proved against him. The Black Hand Society is; simply attempting to prove the undesirability of allowing Jews to live among U9."
