TOWN HALL PICTURES.

"THE LION HUNTERS."

Saturday's picture carnival at the Town Hall attracted very large audiences at both sessions. in the alter noon the kiddies had an upioniiously happy time, and in the evening the adults rolled up in big force. The programme submitted was clean, crisp, and brightly interesting, there being not one dull moment from first to last. "The Lion Hunters." which occupied pride of place, was particularly well fitted to fill the main role. Jb is oasily the best production of the tlaumont Company. :.nd the film thrills and excites from beginning to end. The ferocious lions introduce all the danger element that is required, and the scene in which they are killed to save the life of the heroine is of a highly dramatic character. "Bunny's Honeymoon" proved one of the best comedies wo have seen, while "At \\>-k and Play in China" is an educational feature, beautifully coloured, which could not fail to impress all who witnessed it. Other fine pictures included, "The Sorrowful Shore" (A.B. drama), and "The Other Girl,' a beautifully created love story by the Thannhauser Company. "A Trip on a French River" is one of the finest coloured scenics wo have yet iseen in Masterton, while the Thannhauser Co. is responsible for a fine drama entitled "In Their Hour of Need." The entire programme reaches a high standard of excellence and fullv maintains the quality of entertainment which the ptiblic have come to expect from the Town Hall Company.
