EMPLOYEES "SYMPATHETIC WITH STRIKERS.
'WELLINGTON, Last Night. The Petorie railway workshops employees to-day passed the following resolution: "That this meeting of the Petone workshops employees- wish to show.their practical sympathy in assisting the locked-out Waterside Workers' Union and other labour.bodies in their fight for freedom and right. We recognise tho fait that the men are fighting passively _ fojr an important principle, that principle being the right to maintain their organisation from being wrecked at the dictation of an employers" com-
bine. We further recognise that their cause is our cause, and are determined to assist the dependants of the men] their mothers, wives and children m every way possible."
