A "SCAB" PORT.

VESSELS' CREWS CALLED OUT AT TIMARU.

TIMARU, Last Night. The crews of the Ngahere and Potone to-day received a notice ! from Mr Young, secretary of tile Seamen's Union, that Timara is deemed a. "scab" port, and they must not work Timaru cargo. The Ngahere'screw were not employed pin cargo, but the Petone's crew were, and when they got the notice they knocked off. By that time, however, the boat was fully loaded for Napier. Both left this evening, the Ngahere for a port not disclosed.
