NEVER STRONGER.
JUDICIAL COMMITTEE OP THE PRIVY COUNCIL. ■
'Time*'— 'Sydney Sun' tSpeciafCablta. (Received Nov. 7, 8.30 a.m.) LONDON. Nov. k. The Times, condemning Lord Hair dane's (Lord Chancellor) suggests changes in the Judicial 'Committee, says: "Never probably in modern times has tho Committee been stronger than it is'to-day; rarely has it commanded greater confidence. There- is a general opinion among lawyers, including those in the colonies, that, generally, the character of the judgments has improved, showing a clear recognition of its duties as a final Court. Decisions given in England, are likely to lie more generally accepted than in a place where a controversy has long raged, aitd most persons have taken sides."
