SERIES OF"RESOLUTIONS.

At a represtTiTative meeting ol' dairy farmers held here on Thursday afternoon under the- auspices of the New Zealand Farmers' Union, addresses dealing with the strike question were given" by Mr Morison, president of the Farmers' Union, and MiMcGregor, a members of the executive committee. A resolution was passed expressing appreciation at the efforts being put forth by the Farmers' Union to get the dairy produce loaded, and offering; further men as wharf labourers "should, they- bo required. A further resolution was carried urging the Government should the monthly payments for cheese to dairy factories not be available 011 account of it not being shipped, to go guarantors to the Banks and so help to tide the farmers over the financial crisis.
