Mr W.vD. McOftlmont, formerly' of Masterton, lias 'started business in Martinborough. Dr Chadwiek, who recently disused of his practice in the Marlborough district, is at present on a visit to Eketahuna.
Arch. f McMaster has taken up his duties in Martinborough as representative of Messrs W. G. Turnbull and Co.
Mr J. PrendeviHe has been elected chairman of the Eketahuna School Committee -in succession t6 Mr Horace Griffith. 1 V
3lr J?ocker, who was at one time assistant to the Rev. A. L. Thompson m Masterton, has taken over the Presbyterian charge in Martinborough fox* a time.
Mr P. Powell, formerly Tn the employ of the Toogood Estate, and some time town clerk at Featherston, is at present in Toronto, Canada, where he has a mercantile appointment.
