NEW ZEALAND FORECAST. WELLINGTON, Last Night. '! The Rot. D. 0. Bates, of the Meteorological office, last evening wired as follows: — Moderate to strong and decreasing southerly winds have prevailed, and -tlie weather has been cool and changeable. Scattered showers were reported during Monday night, but conditions have been generally more favourable. to-day. Little change of atmosphereic pressure has taken place. Present indications aro for variable breezes giving place to freshening northerly winds with a falling'.barometer soon. The weather is likely to become warmer and mild and hazy conditions prevail, but with increasing cloadiness generally.
