The loicai strike executive is holding numerous meetings to discuss the situation. A mass meeting was held at Denniston yesterday. It was decided to make common cause with Welling'&'n and Huntly, and remain on strike until they had' gained a victory. All the horses are to be taken osut at nine o'clock to-morrow. There has been a big run on flour, sugar, potatoes, and other lines, and some of them are getting short. As the Denniston incline is not working, the goods t will have to be carted up, adding to*the cost. i The Reg'ulus, .which had 1000 bags of chaff for Westport, was signalled on t« Greymouth, whore she is load* ing. It is not known, whether she returns to Westport on the way north. The Seddonville State mine is idle, through there being no outlet for coal. All the bins and available trucks aro full.
