The Hon. C. H. and Mrs Mills, who have been the guests of their daughter, Mrs V. Donald, LansdowiiOj leave for Wellington to-day. Mips Rod ward, who has been spending a short holiday with Mrs N. James, Lansdowne, returns to her homo in Wellington to-day. Tho weathei' proved anything hit good for the opening day of the Masterton Tennis Club last Saturday ; a heavy shower about 4 o'clock stopping the play for.the rest of the afternoon. Amongst those present were—Mu and Mrs H. M. Boddington, Mrs G. W. Sellar, Mrs Lawrence, Mr and Mrs S. Noble-Camp-bell, Mr and Mrs Elcoate, Mr and Mi's Fenton, ftfrs Mre Foley, Mrs Cumjflings, Mrs H.
