Mr and Mrs Dalziell, Manaka, who have been spending a few days in Wellington, returned home yesterday. Mrs Hawkins, Wanganui, is the guest of Mrs Carley, of Renall Street, Masterton. Mrs T. Dwyer, of Auckland, is on a visit to her parents, iMr and Mrs M. O. O'Connell, of Masterton.
A "handkerchief afternooii" was given yesterday by Mrs Kendall and Miss Bennett, of Cole Street, to Miss Elsie Richards, who is about to be married. About forty ladfes assembledin Mirs Kendall's hall, where a v6ry pleasant afternoon, was spent with xndsio, recitation, etc, A large number of very handsome handkerchiefs were presented -Miss Richards.
Ml' and Mrs Caselberg and Misses Myra and Beryl Caselberg have gone to Dunedin for a few weeks.
