TO-DAY'S WEATHER.
NEW ZEALAND FORECAST. WELLINGTON, Last Night. The Rev. D. C. Bates, of the Meteorological office, last evening wired as follows: —
While warm and humid conditions, with fair to cloudy weather, have ruled in the north, a smart change has taken place in the south. The strong south-easterly winds which last night brought heavy rain and some snow on the higher levels has given way to a strong north-easterly and more rain to-day. The barometer has fallen considerably in the south. Present indications are for northerly winds, strong to gale. Cloudy, misty, and unsettled weather, with rain, probably generally, -and a falling barometer everywhere.
