| Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., Wellington, report as follows:—At.our usual fortnightly sale of wool, skins, hides and tallow, held on Friday afternoon, we offered a good catalogue to the usual attendance of buyers. Competition was keen throughout, prices for wool, skins and tallow being'firm at last sale's prices, whilst hides were advanced id to Jd per lb. We topped the market with a line of medium weight ox hides, which sold at 9fd per lb. We quote: Wool.— Crossbred fine 9|d, do medium (coarse) 8d to 9sd s pieces and bellies 5d to 6£d, crutchings ssd to 7d.
