EXCITEMENT IN LEIPZIG.

Eight! lions escaped from a travelling circus cage, which had collided with a tramcar. The crowd became panic-stricken. • One lion dashed 1 into an hotel and ascended a staircase. ; ;The police shot five and are hunting the other three.
