Mrs Mcßean Stewart lias returned to her home in Bannister-etreet, Masterton, after a few weeks spent with her mother in Woodville.
Mrs J. C. Bunny, of Masterton, is' at present on a visit to Wellington.
The engagement is announced of Miss F. P. Kirker, eldest daughter of W. R. Kirker, Esq., to Mr E. K. Kirkcaldie, youngest son of J. Kirkcaldie, Esq.
Miss Drum mon d arrived in Wellington last week from Christchurcli, on a visit to her people <at Kilbirnie. Later /she will visit friends in the Wairarapa. » . ■
Mrs R. Maunsell (Tinui) is visiting Wellington this week.
