DALMUIR is a dark chestnut, and stands 16 hands 3 inches high, weUbalanced, evenly marked horse of great weight and substance, possessing rate'good feet, pasterns, nice quality of hair, legs, and a great top. He is a tremendously straight level-mover, and has the activity of a tip-top breeder, and is a sure foalgetter. This horse's carthorse stock is selling well in New Zealand. He is also one of the finest tempered horses to be found. He has many first prizes to his credit, and his stock are highly spoken of in the Clutha district. From his pedigree it will be seen at a glance that he is one of the best, and his superb quality will satisfy the most critical. His sire, Dalmuir Prince (imp), is a great Show -horse, and also a great breeder. His performances read: 32 firsts and champions, E second and 3 third p Tizes. He was shown twice as a three-year-old—2nd Waimate. and 2nd Timaru. Black Knight (imp.) is one of the best breeding horses in New Zealand at the present time. His stock for the last two seasons won first prizes from Christchurch to Invercargill. Princess May, by Prince Alexander, by St. Alexander (imp.), dam Darling, by Crown Prince. The progeny of these three sires are too well known throughout the Dominion to need comment.
