FOOTBALL.
BED STAB v. TAUERU
At Taueru on Saturday the Red Staiis and Taueru-Braneepoth teams played a return match. The local team showed improvement on their last display, and kept the visitor*, busy. Bannister scored a try for Stars, this being the only score of the match.
Mr W. Darvill was a capable referee.
After the game both teams were hospitably entertained by Mr and Mrs Devereaux, of the Taueru Hotel.
