The A.J.C. meeting was concluded on Saturday. The weather was ideal at the start, but became cold later and light rain fell. There was a big attendance. Results:—
High-weight H&nidcap. —, Alfred Jackson 1, Border King 2, Virginia 3. Twenty started. Won by half a length. Time, lmin 15isec. Waverley Handicap.—Matouree 1, Electrakoff 2, Alured 3. Twelve started. (C. Emerson rode the winner.) Woa by a long nqck. Dowling Steeplechase—Glenmore 1, Guncap 2, Belemus 3. Nine started, won by -ten - lengths. (Adams rode the winner.) Time,'smin <t3Jsec. Menibers' Handicap.—Crosska 1, Simoh Frisco 2, John 1 McCormack 3; Eleven, started; (Emerson rode the winner.) ' Won by ten lengths. Time lniin 54sec.
- Rand wick Plate.—Duke Foote 1, Harpist 2, Radior 3. Cadonia, Midnight Sun, Embracer and Posinatus also started. Harpist led most of the way, but Duke Foote challenegd at the distance and came away and won easily by a length and a half. Time, 3min 29Jsec. >
Final Handicap.—Limelight 1, Cider 2, King Mostyn 3. , Thirteen started. Won by a length. Time, 2 min 7isec. -
