EKETAHUNA STOCK SALE. Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report having held their usual fortnightly sale at Eketahuna on Friday, 10th inst., when there was a good attendance and a fair yarding of stock which sold as follows: —Forward ty ewes 16s 9d, fat and forward empty ewes 18s 9d, ewes with lambs at foot 20a 6d to 21s 8d; 18-months steers £3 Is, 2-jear steers £4, springing heifers £4 10s, dairy oows at drop £'f> 5s to £7 10s, empty cows £3 7s 6d. ■ PALMEBSTON STOCK SALE. PALMERSTON N M Last Night. Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report:—At Palmerston North on Thursday, the 9th inst., we offered a fair yarding of cattle, but only a fewpens of sheep came forward. Sales were effected at the following quotations:—Ewes with lambs 19s lid to 25a lid, forward cows £4 12s to £5, store cows £2 10s to £3 10s, yearlings 30s to £2- 2s 6d, springing cows £4 5s to £5.
