NEW ZEALAND FORECAST. WELLINGTON, Last Night. The Rev. D. 0. Bates, ol the Meteorological office, last evening wired as follows: — Stormy weather has continued, especially on the East Coast between Castlepoint and Kaikoura, and strong south-westerly winds generally. Rain has fallen in most parts of the country, and snow on many higher levels. The barometer has risen everywhere. Present indications are for high southerly winds generally,, but with a decreasing tendency shortly with showery weather on the East Coast, and squally at times elsewhere, but probably improving soon, thotigh only in the south.
