THE SUCCESS DREDGE. Reporting under date September 28,. the dredgemaster of the Success dredge says:—l beg to report a very good run of 120 hours for a return of 38ozs net. This return was won froin the north end half off the cut. The depth and nature of this part of the ground has not changed much during the week except that we have struck the high bottom in the north end corner, and which is only 9 feet deep; so we are now satisfied that we have all the payable ground opened up and in a face ahead of its. The payable ground will average between eight and nine chains wide. Your dredge ran well during the week, and treated a large quantity of dirt. Everything at the dredge is running well. QUOTATIONS.
