STRIKE RIOTS.

ONE MINER KILLED.

(Received Last Night, 10 o'clock.) NEW YORK, October 8. When the superintendent of a mine at Ludlow, Colorado, where a strike is in progress, was leaving the premises the strikers fusiladed his automobile. The superintendent returned and secured an armed escort. ' The miners used their tire-arms, and a battle followed. A miner was killed and several injured.

The State militia suppressed the disorders.
