EIGHT-HOUR DAY.
CELEBRATION IN SYDNEY. (Received Last, Night, 10.30 o'clock.) SYDNEY, October 8. Eight Hour Day was celebrated in fine weather.
Great crowds viewed the " procession.
Owing to the twenty hours' sitting in the Assembly, where the Labour members were stonewalling the Constitution Bill, many members were too tired to attend the demonstration.
