WELLINGTON, Last Night
The Rev. D„ 0. Bates, of the Meteorological office, last evening wired as follows:—
Tho barometer has fallen everywhere, and fair to cloudy weather has prevailed, with scatters. » freshening northerly winds. Present indications are for strong northerly winds, changing by west to south after fron 24 to 36 hours. Icreasing cloudiness and general rainfall probably following. The warm conditions on the East Coast are likely to change rather suddenly before the end of the week, the barometer falling lower in the meantime.
