An interesting personality passed away at Sumner recently in the person of Mr J.J. Tacon, who was born in Suffolk in 1840. On his mother's side, Mr Tacon 8 too J in the direct descent from George Abbot, Archbishop of Canterbury in the reigns of James I. and Charlos 1., who is famous in tho history of those times as the leader of the Low Church Party, and a bitter opponent of Laud.
