The local players lacked combination and condition; otherwise they would hare been assured with a win. For Wellington, Bold, at full-back, Milford at centre-half, and Pyeoroft, centre-forward, played excellently while of the local team, Kennedy, centre-forward, Newport, cel.-tie-half, and Pointon in goal played splendid games.
