FUTURIST MUSIC.
NO NEW ACOUSTIC JOYS
'Times' —'Sydney Sun' Special Cables. (Received Oct. 6, 8.30 a.m.)
MILAN, Oct. 5
The first concert of Futurist music, which did not cause its hearers to experience new acoustic joys, was given here by an orchestra consisting oif three buzzers, two thundetrers, three whistlers, two rustlers, two gurglers, and a student snorter. The programme consisted of items entitled "Waking up the City," "Motor-cars' and Aeroplanes' Meeting," • "Dinner on the Terrace of a Casino," and "Skirmish in the Oasis."
[Apparently this message is given as a serious report of a, genuine "Futurist" concert. The word? sound like a burlesque of the new notion of music* though;'of course, the "Foii?i all departments-: bfartj sPsj?ar"weird" and' merous orjtics.] ''S. I
