The Times says that the Indian trouble in South Africa must very seriously prejudice the British Imperial system in India and elsewhere. The paper suggests that a representative of the Government of India should visit South Africa and discuss the problem with General Botha, Union Prime Minister.

Dr. Abdttr Rahoan, presiding at the Congress of the South African po9mT- litical organisations at Kimborley, Jr. ' declared that virtual slavery exists in the northern provinces of the union. He added that the whites were determined to repress the aspirations of the coloured people, and keep them skves.
